Motocross Legend Jimmy Button Rides For a Cause

Jimmy Button was a former professional motocross rider until a tragic accident during a practice run left him paralyzed from the neck down. Doctors never thought he would walk again, but doctors can’t measure the heart and courage Jimmy had.

After much hard work and dedication Jimmy learned how to walk again and started the Road 2 Recovery foundation in 2000. A non-profit organization to enhance the sport of motocross through assistance to AMA licensed professional Motocross and Supercross riders who sustain career ending injuries.

On Sunday, Jimmy will start an epic journey riding a bicycle from San Diego, CA to Daytona Beach, FL. Jimmy will cycle 60 miles a day for 2 months, traveling 2,428 miles total in hopes to raise money for spinal cord research.
