Awesome article! I love car chase scenes.

My two cents:
1. Where is the Original 1974 “Gone in 60 Seconds”? That car chase was legendary! or perhaps the one from “The French Connection” with Gene Hackman?
2. The picture for “Vanishing Point” that you have in the article is from the made-for-tv movie remake, not the superior, 1971 original.

nah, it’s not. i guess after they DESTROYED it with that last film where beast looked like cookie monster and they “killed” prof. x in the first 20 min’s,….this is the closest thing to a reboot we get. god. what a joke

I won’t see “Scream 4″.

Do foreign films count as being underrated? I would add “Ichi the Killer” to that list and “Sleepaway Camp”, but I don’t know if that one is underrated as well since it has a cult following.
